Based on a real life event in Hong Kong concerning the kidnapping of a Chinese businessman. Jackie plays a policeman who can’t deal with killing bad guys. He is assigned the job of tracking down the kidnappers, unaware that his partner is also a villain. There are some moments of amazing actions including a incredible car chase, the kidnappers trying to revive the businessman’s wife after she has a heart attack, using jumper cables hooked up to a car battery, a brutal rooftop brawl, and of course the final fight scene which starts in a marketplace and ends up in a building basement. A great, realistic, no-nonsense action film.
