After his mentor is killed, Hsiu Chi (Andy Lau) is a police officer who deliberately gets thrown into jail to investigate a situation in which supposedly executed convicts are reappearing as assassins. As he learns the ropes of life in the big house, Jackie appears as a gambler who plays against a gangster to win money for his girlfriend’s operation. When Jackie wins, the gangster gets mad, and a brawl ensues in which Jackie accidently kills the gangster’s brother, and gets sent to jail. From there Jackie, Andy Lau, and two others end up becoming friends who get caught up in the conspiracy of the jail. |
